Working for the department of Theater Management Services, the Usher is a half-time (50%) professional staff position assisting the House Management in crowd control & monitoring various areas in conjunction with the department's events. Tasks include assistance in taking tickets, handing-out materials, seating patrons, enforcing theatre policies, answering inquiries, giving directions, selling, auditorium clearing, light cleaning, lobby set-up & strike and providing light security. The position is under the direct supervision of the Patron Services Manager. During events, the position is under the direction of the House Manager.
