Two legendary forces in contemporary music—Laurie Anderson and Kronos Quartet come together for an incredible first-time collaboration, with Landfall
—an atmospheric, multimedia tour de force. The San Jose Mercury called it "70 minutes of sensuous futurism: music amid dream time musings, an intergalactic lamentation". Part of CAP UCLA’s Spring 2014 celebration of The Kronos Quartet’s 40th anniversary, this performance embodies Anderson’s wildly inventive sonic language and technological innovation as she performs alongside the acclaimed ensemble.
