Have you encountered our mini rolling library in the West Lobby of Royce Hall? We call it Royce Reads.

The space is home to a free book exchange, artist talks, art-making activities, and a new program, Dig Deeper: An interactive inquiry desk.

In partnership with our colleagues at UCLA Library, at select events throughout the season, we will have University librarians and other campus experts on hand in Royce Hall before performances. They’ll help us all make deeper connections with CAP UCLA programs and artists by offering insights into UCLA’s vast library collection. And it is vast.

Dig Deeper and the free book exchange are back in the 2014-2015 season. We’ll invite you to listen to music, view archival footage, experience a research guide, read, mingle, share ideas or just sit quietly. Feel free to take a book, or bring a book to share.

If you would like to donate interesting books for the free book exchange, email Meryl Friedman, Director of Education & Special initiatives: mlfriedman@arts.ucla.edu.
