At CAP UCLA, our first priority is the health, safety and well-being of our community of artists, staff, production team and supporters. It is in this context and in response to the COVID-19 health crisis that we have suspended all performances for the remainder of the 2019-20 Season.

We have been in close communication with the artists and their management to begin the complex task of rescheduling their performances into the 2020-21 CAP UCLA Season beginning in September.

Ticket holders will automatically receive a refund for the full amount of the purchase. The business of ticket refunds is a workload of some magnitude. We appreciate your patience as we work through this process.

To learn more about UCLA’s ongoing response to this crisis, please visit UCLA’s dedicated COVID-19 website as well as Bruins Safe Online.

Be safe, be healthy, be strong.

The Origin of Love [is] a punk-rock live behind the music episode of sorts and a gift to Hedwig heads everywhere.” —DC Theatre Scene

John Cameron Mitchell, the double Tony Award-winning, Golden Globe-nominated co-creator of Hedwig & the Angry Inch, performs songs from his groundbreaking rock musical and regales his audience with stories from 25 years of Hedwig’s history. Joined on stage by members of his original Broadway band and powerhouse performer Amber Martin, the repertoire includes Hedwig favorites “The Origin of Love,” “Sugar Daddy,” “Wig in a Box” and “Wicked Little Town” as well as songs from his upcoming musical Anthem. Sporting a costume that transforms into six different outfits over the course of the evening and crowned with Hedwig’s classic wig, Mitchell is a sassy, magnetic and dynamic entertainer who promises to hold the crowd in the palm of his manicured hand throughout the entire performance.
