A Thousand Ways, (Part II): An Encounter, You and a stranger meet on opposite ends of a table, separated by a pane of glass. Using a script and a few simple objects, a simple exercise of working together becomes an invitation to expand how you imagine one another.
A Thousand Ways, (Part II: An Encounter) will take place on the following days and times in PT and at Royce Hall in Los Angeles, CA. Please select the day/time you are able to participate. After signing up, we recommend you mark your personal calendars to keep that day/time booked.
Please note: All participants will be separated by a plastic screen but not six feet apart. Everyone must be masked, and we will be taking all necessary COVID safety measures for this in-person event. If you don’t bring one, one will be provided to you when you arrive. All ushers will be wearing masks. Nothing will be passed between our staff and you. All objects used in the performance are either new or have been disinfected based on COVID protocols. Although this is a private experience between you and a stranger, you will not be in physical contact in any way and there will be a glass partition between the both of you the entire time. The entry and exit participants will be limited to four at a time. We will email you more information about this and other logistics leading up to the event. After you RSVP you should receive a confirmation email, please check your spam folder if you do not see it.
This piece is designed for encounters between strangers, so if you and a friend or family member are both signing up, please let us know so that we can make sure you are not paired together.
