Members of Australia’s award-winning theater collective Pony Cam performing "Burnout Paradise"

Get ready to treadmill!

From Australia’s award-winning theater collective Pony Cam comes Burnout Paradisea wildly funny, full-throttle performance where four performers take on four treadmills and a cascade of impossible challenges. What starts as a playful wager between audience and performer quickly spirals into a delirious mix of endurance, chaos and pure euphoria.

For more than five years, the ensemble — Claire Bird, Ava Campbell, William Strom, Dominic Weintraub and Hugo Williams — has created joyfully unpredictable works that blur the line between artist and audience. With an instinctual and highly playful approach, their works invite the audience to participate and question assumptions about community, capitalism, societal pressure and the nature of performance itself.

Join us at The Nimoy on Saturday, November 1 at 8 pm or Sunday, November 2 at 6 as Burnout Paradise turns the grind of modern life into a joyful spectacle. It’s part game, part meltdown, and all fun — a fast-paced reminder that sometimes, falling apart can be the most exhilarating act of all.
