Composer, writer, performer and social justice advocate H Sinno shares Poems of Consumption, a song cycle partially inspired by Mark Fisher’s Capitalist Realism. Drawing from poetry written by Sinno in Amazon reviews and utilizing the sounds of consumerism (crumpling cellophane, bubble wrap, unboxing, ripping plastic etc.) to juxtapose a romantic string quartet.
