Dorian Wood performs Sinéad O'Connor's I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got.
“A fearless artist and performer whose voice inhabits a room like a choir of ghosts.” — LA Weekly
Dorian Wood performs Sinéad O'Connor's groundbreaking 1990 album I Do Not Want What I Haven’t Got in its entirety, reimagined in an intimate, emotionally raw piano-and-voice format. The performance pays tribute to the late singer-songwriter and to an album that became a global success featuring singles such as "Nothing Compares 2 U," "The Emperor's New Clothes" and "Jump in the River."
Wood, an anti-disciplinary artist, approaches performance as a way of transforming spaces, challenging traditions and systems that have contributed to the marginalization of people through her singular artistry and creative prowess.
“There is no album that has inspired me more than I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got, and no artist has impacted my life more than the goddess Sinéad,” says Wood. “It is an immense honor to celebrate her, revisiting these songs filled with her truth; songs that helped shape so many of us.”
Dorian Wood (pronouns: she/her/they/them) is a U.S. based artist who has performed at landmark cultural institutions across the globe. Wood has released over a dozen recordings, most recently the album Canto de Todes (New Amsterdam Records, 2026).

They have also directed several short films, among them The angel (2023), Low's Disappearing video (2021) and American Savagery (2021).
