A Mouth Full of Dirt, an immersive electronic performance by eucademix inspired by her work with Star Route Farm.
A Mouth Full of Dirt is a multimedia performance by Yuka Honda, the visionary musician, producer, composer and co-founder of Cibo Matto, performing under her solo electronics project eucademix. With live visuals, Honda creates an immersive world where electronic music becomes texture, atmosphere and sensation.
Taking its title from a track on her album Farm Psychedelia, the work transforms the farmer’s life into a vivid metaphor for struggle, nourishment, pleasure and renewal. Inspired by Honda’s work with Star Route Farm in the Catskills, A Mouth Full of Dirt evokes the elemental experience of growing, tasting and receiving sustenance from the earth.
At The Nimoy, eucademix brings this sensory landscape to life through music in conversation with live visuals, creating an experience shaped by sound, image and the rituals of nourishment.
