Chilean singer and songwriter Nano Stern blends the youthful exuberance of folk music with the powerful force of Chile’s traditional revolutionary songs.
This program will feature the works of legendary singer and slain political activist Víctor Jara. Marking the 50th anniversary of Chile’s coup d’etat and Jara’s death, Stern gives new breath to Jara’s immortal repertoire, interspersing it with his own richly crafted songs.
