yMusic has built a reputation as virtuoso musicians who elevate the performances and recordings of their legendary collaborators, such as Paul Simon and Bill T. Jones. Now, yMusic strikes out on their own, taking the stage of The Nimoy to perform a new body of spirited original compositions, which oscillate between the classical and avant-garde. 

A formidable group of musicians’ musician – Alex Sopp (flutes/voice), Hideaki Aomori (clarinets), CJ Camerieri (trumpet/horns), Rob Moose (violin), Nadia Sirota (viola) and Gabriel Cabezas (cello) – yMusic has four albums of commissioned work under their belt, and released their first album of original compositions in 2023.
